Payments
Payments can be made by check, cash, money order, or major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, and Discover)
Returns
You may return items in original condition within ten days of purchase for refund or exchange. Shipping costs will be reimbursed only if the item in question was not accurately described.
Shipping
Our standard fees for USPS Media mail shipping costs are $4.25 for one item and $9.99 for USPS Priority mail. Additional books mailed at the time of purchase will be $3.00 each for Media mail and $5.00 each for Priority. Due to the weight of some items, additional postage charges may be required. The mailing costs for all international shipped items will be calculated on a weight and country basis.
Buying
We buy good clean books of the type we currently stock (rare and out of print) that we can resell in our store. When we consider buying your books we will make an offer in cash based on condition, rarity, market demand, and resale value in our store. You must remove any books we choose not to buy within one week or they will be passed to a non-profit organization.
We do take donations and what cannot be used in the store will be passed to a non-profit organization for reuse or disposal. Please do not leave books outside our store.
We are not interested in encyclopedias, textbooks, condensed books, outdated guides or reference books, magazines, comic books, Reader’s Digest books, Time/Life books, CDs or DVDs, mass-market paperbacks, National Geographic magazines, audio books or music, or software.
Quality Matters! We do not purchase books with cracked /split spines, highlighting, underlining, damaged covers or dust jackets, water damage, food stains, crumpled pages, insect or rodent damage or evidence of such. We will not buy any books that smell of mildew, mold, or smoke.
We are interested in gently used high quality books especially in the fields of history, science, military, biography, and Kansas or Oklahoma topics. First editions/first printings, signed and/or inscribed books, fine/leather bindings, books with bookplates, limited/numbered editions are also books of interest to us. Newer books of significant or historical value would also be of interest to us.
Offline Search Service
If there is a book that you are specifically looking for that we do not have in stock we do offer a book search service and can usually locate several copies in various conditions and price ranges for you to consider.
